Barefoot Knights

Adventure begins where an ordinary day ends. What happens when everyday kids decide to act like real heroes? Barefoot Knights (Bosí rytieri) transports audiences into the world of young adventurers from Žižkov, where everyday life meets imagination. Based on Ota Šafránek’s book, the story turns into an action-packed puppet slapstick filled with detective suspense, fantasy and exaggeration. Two performers use puppets, objects and a transforming foosball table to stage fast-paced chases, duels and visual tricks — touching on courage, greed, friendship and the childhood desire to set the adult world right.
