A visual performance exploring the human capacity for wonder, inviting us into a fantasy realm where boundaries between up and down, large and small, background and foreground dissolve. Through movement, objects and visual composition, the creators explore the act of looking and the fluidity of human perception. Drawing inspiration from graphic novels and object theatre, the performance slowly uncovers the stage’s hidden mechanics, generating visual illusions, humour and subtle absurdity. Rather than telling a traditional story, Thauma creates an open space for imagination — a scenic poem celebrating the joy of seeing the world as if for the very first time.
